We are sure most of you know that  September  17th is Constitution Day.  We firmly believe that the Constitution was divinely inspired and is the most important document  America has.  It is our foundation and it is also critical to our future.  That is why we must educate ourselves and other Citizens about the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Here are some good information sources :

• Hillsdale College Constitution 101 Class: Free 10 week course from one of the best colleges in America.
  • Teaching With Documents: A lesson plan from the National Archives.
  •             Take the Constitution Quiz/IQ: An online quiz on your knowledge of the Constitution and other resources from Constitution Facts (options for grade levels K-12)
  •             Congress for Kids: The Constitution: An online lesson plan on the history of the Constitution. Grade levels 3-12.
  •             A to Z Teacher Stuff: Constitution Day: A variety of suggestions and resources for observing Constitution Day, from teachers.

  Education is critical to restoring America.  Please take some time this month to educate yourself and family about our Founding Fathers and Constitution.

Trevor Loudon, a New Zealand author, radio and TV personality was a special guest of our tea party in April of this year;  and we now have  a copy of his DVD, “The Enemies Within”.   This is a full-length documentary,  which we will show at our September 22^nd meeting at Chattahoochee Technical College.  Join us at 6:30PM on Tuesday, September 22^nd for our “meet and greet” time; and then this special viewing at 7:00PM.  For additional information,  email penny.barker22@gmail.com  .

Along with other local community groups, we are participating in a new radio program on WYYZ—The Patriot Dragons Radio Show.  This show is taped every Tuesday evening and broadcast on Saturdays, just before the football game.  This month, join us for the live taping s at Rocco’s Pub on Tuesday evenings at 5:00PM; and listen to the broadcast on the following Saturday.  Each weekly show discusses issues of the day with a moderator and local citizen participation.  Tune in!
