Mrs. Edna Aline McMurrain, age 92, of Jasper passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Rock Creek Manor in Jasper. She was born October 28, 1922 to the late William Roscoe and Edna Bell Payne in Cherokee County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. M. T. McMurrain.
Mrs. McMurrain is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Marsha McMurrain of Roswell; daughters and sons-in-law, Maxine and Gary Cochran of Rome, Kathleen and Larry Clark of Kingston; grandchildren, Lindsey Beville, Cameron Clark, Kimberly McBurnett, David McMurrain, Melinda Wiser, Michele Leibee, and Elyse Spector.
The Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 23, 2015 at Jasper First Baptist Church with Reverend David Stuart and Reverend Greg Pope officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Roper Funeral Home Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
