Mr. William Frank “Spud” Collett: Obituary

Mr. William Frank “Spud” Collett, age 69 of Jasper passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital.

Mr. Collett is survived by his wife: Magdalene Collett of Jasper; daughter and son-in-law: Debbie and Charles Howard of Jasper; brother Tonie Collett of North Carolina, sisters and brother-in-law: Carolyn Waters of Dawsonville and Teresa and Jerry Wofford of Jasper; grandchildren: Jeremy Howard, Gabriel and Danyell Howard, great grandchild: Gage Howard. Mr. Collett was preceded in death by his daughter Cathy Collett.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 1pm until 10pm and Friday from 8am until prior to the funeral hour. Funeral service is scheduled for 2pm Friday from the chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Howard and Rev. Franklin King officiating. Interment at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
