Mark James Elwarner, age 49, of Jasper passed away Tuesday, February 09, 2016 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper. He was born April 28, 1966 in Detroit Michigan. Mark was currently serving the community as a firefighter with the Jasper Fire Department.
He is survived by wife, Jacque Elwarner of Jasper; daughters, Jordan Elwarner and Paige Elwarner of Jasper; mother, Peggy Rollo of Bradenton, Florida; brother and sister-in-law, David and Jennie Elwarner of Detroit, MI; and grandmother, Betty Jones of Florida. Uncles, aunts, cousins and other relatives also survive.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 12, 2016 at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 noon on Friday.
