Integrity *Dedication*Experience
My name is Jennifer Edwards Jordan. I would like to formally announce myself as a Republican Candidate for the office of the Clerk of Superior Court of Pickens County.
For the past 20 years I have worked in the Clerk of Superior Court office here in Pickens County, 11 of those years as the Chief Deputy Clerk. I have extensive experience in both Superior and Juvenile Court along with all other areas pertaining to the office. I am a life-long resident of the County. I am married to Scotty Jordan. We have 2 children, Malorie age 13 and Mason age 11. My parents are Charles and Debbie Edwards. My grandparents are the late J. L. and Faye Edwards, Ritta Young and the late Roy Young. I am a 1994 graduate of Pickens High School, a 1996 graduate of Chattahoochee Technical College. I also attended Reinhardt College.
If elected as your Clerk I will:
*streamline the accounting and transparency of the Clerk’s Office.
*revamp and reorganize the record room to make it more user friendly, along with better preservation of our records.
*restructure the front office so incoming money can be processed immediately.
* provide all around better management of the office.
*maintain a good working relationship with other county offices.
*strive to provide a Clerk’s Office the taxpayers will be proud of.
I have a strong passion for the court system, the county history and the records being properly cared for. It is my mission to serve the citizens of Pickens County in an efficient, effective and ethical manner. I look forward to meeting those that do not know me and hope to talk to everyone soon.
