Hit and Run Fatality Accident in Ranger Georgia

Pickens County Deputies assisted the Georgia State Patrol in a fatality accident investigation on Dry Pond Road in Ranger Georgia on April 21st at approximately 3 – 3:30 pm.  The accident was a hit and run.

The State Patrol sought the public’s assistance in locating Ms Shanda Sperin.  Ms Sperin was wanted for questioning regarding the accident. She was was seen driving a Gray Ford Ranger truck which most likely had damage to the front end and bumper. Authorities were asking anyone with information on where she could be located to please contact 911.

Later on Thursday evening, approximately 6:30pm Ms Sperin and the vehicle were located.  Deputies working with the Georgia State Patrol were able to safely pick her up.

No additional details are being provided at this time regarding the victim or the accident.
