Mrs. Christine Brooks: Obituary

Mrs. Christine Brooks, age 73 of Jasper passed away Friday April 29th at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta.

She is survived by her husband Eugene Brooks of Jasper; daughter and son-in-law Wanda and Roger McBrayer of Cullman, AL; daughter and son-in-law Glenda and Troy Southerland of Jasper; daughter Brenda Lee Brooks of Jasper; daughter Tonya Jump of Jasper; daughter and son-in- law Lynn and Scotty Young of Canton, Ga. Brother and sister-in-law Marvin and Irene Wofford of Ellijay; sister-in-laws Opalene Parton of Cumming Ga., Marie Fountain of Canton Ga., and Francis Brooks, Canton Ga., sister-in-law and brother in-law Pat and Roy Roberts of Little Rock Ar. and brother in-law Ernest Brooks of the Yellow Creek community; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 2nd at Refuge Baptist Church with Rev. Thomas Shipman and Rev. Danny Townsend officiating. Interment will follow in Lake Forest Memorial Park. The Brooks Family will receive friends at Roper Funeral Home beginning on Saturday April 30th from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Sunday May 1st from 9:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. and on Monday May 2nd from 9-00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
