Mrs. Christina Dawn Defebaugh, age 43, of Jasper passed away Saturday, June 11, 2016 at her home. She was born August 4, 1972 to Charles Eugene and Patricia Ann Bryant in Houston, Texas. She was a loving mother and mimi to her family and devoted caregiver to all.
Christina is survived by her husband, James Defebaugh of Jasper; son and daughter-in-law, Seth and Amy Edwards of Jasper; son, Jaron Defebaugh of Jasper; daughter, Jillian Defebaugh; sister and brother-in-law, Denise and Robert Chichester of Wichita, Kansas; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jim and Betty Defebaugh of Clinton, Illinois; grandchildren, Zanna and Cayson Edwards of Jasper. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Bryant; father, Charles Bryant; and sister, Charlene Patrice.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 18 at Roper Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Lake Forest. The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Roper Funeral Home.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to their children’s educational fund.
