David “Ted” Quinton, age 72, of Talking Rock, passed away Monday, July 18, 2016 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. Ted was born February 2, 1944 to Truman and Ina Lou Quinton in Talking Rock.
He is survived by wife, Nedene Quinton of Talking Rock; son, David Quinton (Misty) of Talking Rock; step-daughter, Joann Henderson of Jasper; sisters-in-law, Clara Quinton of Jasper, Dorothy Quinton of Jasper, Doris Walker of Jasper, Addline Hart of Jasper; grandchildren, Samantha Ann, Emily, Caitlyn; three step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by wife, Dortha Lee Quinton; step-daughter, Debbie House; great-grandson, Grahm Michael.
The funeral service will be 2:30 p.m., Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Talking Rock Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be at Roper Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday; 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday; from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
