Mr. E.C. Owen, retired minister, age 91 of Ringgold, GA, formerly of Canton, passed away Sunday August 28, 2016 at Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain Hospice.
Mr. Owen is survived by his wife of 73 years: Oma Lee Holmes Owen of Ringgold, GA; daughters and sons-in-law: Treena & James Grimes of Cumming, GA and Brenda & Edsel Manous of Canton; son-in-law: Bill Moody of Harrison, TX; grandchildren: Sharon Moody Stone, Sandy Moody Jones, Stephanie Grimes & Mike Thomas, Jason & Rose Grimes, and 8 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Owen was preceded in death by his daughter: Joyce Owen Moody.
Visitation will begin Tuesday August 30, 2016 from 4:00pm until 9:00pm, Wednesday from 10:00am until 9:00pm and on Thursday from 10:00am until prior to the funeral service. The funeral service will be held at 1:00pm Thursday September 1, 2016 at the chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Ministers Mike Thomas and Tommy Pettyjohn officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
The family will accept flowers or donate to Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain Hospice.
