Mr. Phillip D. Matthews, age 72 of Talking Rock, passed away Sunday September 25, 2016 at Northside Hospital Cherokee.
Mr. Matthews is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law: Brenda & Richard Russell of Jasper and Melissa & Doug Kell of Talking Rock; brother and sister-in-law: Robert & Brenda Matthews of Canton; sister: Ellen Matthews of Talking Rock; 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm Wednesday September 28, 2016 at the chapel of Cagle Funeral Home.
The family requests in lieu of flowers make donations to Cagle Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
