Mr. Billy Heath, age 79, of Marble Hill, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at his home. He was born January 31, 1937 to Cale and Bertha Heath, Jr. in Marble Hill.
Mr. Heath is survived by his wife, Carolyn Heath of Marble Hill; children, Rebecca Ray of Nelson, Billy and Cindy Heath of Jasper, Tracy Heath of Atlanta; brother, J. M. Heath of Marble Hill; sister, Tina Liedherr of Acworth; grandchildren, Heather Heath, Leila Heath, Sam Heath, J.R. Neagle; and great-grandchild, Georgia Smith. Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.
The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 28 from 12:00 noon until 9:00 p.m. At his request, Mr. Heath will then be cremated.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Georgia Mountains Hospice – 70 Caring Way; Jasper, GA 30143.
