Rickey C. Summerfield, age 62, of Maysville, Georgia passed away Monday, October 3, 2016 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. He was born August 21, 1954 to Charles and Juanita Chancey Summerfield in Savannah,Georgia.
He is survived by children, Sarah Darby (Brian) of Canton, Jesse Summerfield of Austell; sister, Martha Summerfield of Bluffton, South Carolina; grandchildren, Hazel Darby and Violet Darby. Other friends and family members also survive.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are entrusted to the staff of Roper Funeral Home & Crematory in Jasper, Georgia.
