Doing something a little different this week. This week’s #TeamFYNSports Sports Writer Player of the Week isn’t just one particular individual, it’s an entire side of the ball. The #TeamFYNSports Sports Writer Player of the Week is the Dragons defense as a whole. Last night against LaFayette on the road, the Dragons defense held the Ramblers offense to 6 points, 8 1st downs, 3/10 on 3rd down, 146 total yards, 112 yards rushing, 34 yards passing on 43 total plays, for a 3.4 yard per play average. The Dragons defense also forced 4 total turnovers as well with 2 fumbles & 2 interceptions. Collecting 5 tackles for loss & 1 sack in the process. You can catch the Dragons at home this upcoming week as they host the Heritage Generals.
