Duree Thelma Jones Henderson, age 82, of Jasper passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016 at Serenity Mountain Manor in Jasper. Mrs. Henderson was born February 19, 1934 to Thelma and Arthur Jones. She was married to the late George Leon Henderson.
Mrs. Henderson is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Fonda Henderson of Jasper; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Ben Fincher of Thomasville; grandchildren, Nathan and Courtney Henderson, Timmy Henderson, Caleb Henderson; great-grandchildren, Gemma Henderson, Wyatt Henderson, and Garrett Henderson. She was preceded in death by son, Mark William Henderson and grandson, Lee Henderson.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 2, 2016 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Dick Hester officiating. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell. The family will be receiving friends from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Roper Funeral Home.
