Arline Hamrick, age 81, of Talking Rock passed away Thursday, December 22, 2016 at her home. She was born December 26, 1934 to Betty Elizabeth and Linzey Young in Pickens County.
She is survived by daughters, Annie Mae Long of Ludville, Lillie Mae Watson of Ludville; son, Larry Hamrick of Ludville; brothers, Nathan Young, James Young, J. L. Young, Ed Young; sisters, Frances Watson, and Jeanette Stone; 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Hamrick and son, Richard Hamrick.
The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 24, 2016 at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Bobby Timms officiating.
Visitation will be at Roper Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
