Mrs. Chloe Garrison, age 91, of Jasper passed away Thursday, December 22, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Garrison was born December 24, 1924 to George and Ina McClure Reed.
She is survived by daughter, Sue Stephens of Jasper; daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Jerry Clonts of Jasper; grandchildren, Sounya & James Stokes of Talking Rock, Gary Dale of Talking Rock, Dan and Jessie Dale of Talking Rock, Chuck and Kris Stephens of Atlanta, Stephanie Stephens of Atlanta, Jody and Melissa Clonts of Jasper, Casey and David Renfroe of Saldotna, Alaska, Jason Garrison of Florida; eleven great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Garrison; daughter, Carlin Bradley; and son, Johnny Garrison.
The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 24, 2016 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Neal McKenzie officiating. Interment will follow at Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home Friday from 12:00 noon until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, make donations to Georgia Mountains Hospice at 70 Caring Way; Jasper, GA 30143.
