Mrs. Trula Fannie Cantrell, age 89 of Jasper, passed away Monday, January 23, 2017 at Wildwood Nursing Home. She was born May 29, 1927 to Henry Elmer and Alice Davis in Fannin County.
Trula is survived by her children, Harold and Diane Cantrell, Billy and Linda Cantrell, Mary Alice and Scott Perkins, Helen Bailey, Henry Cantrell, and Shirley Lee; daughter-in-law, Regina Cantrell; sisters, Faye Payne of Cleveland, Gladys Wheeler of Cleveland; 18 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by children, Charles Cantrell, Danny Cantrell, and Jerel Cantrell.
The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Bethesda Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be at Roper Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.; Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
The family will accept flowers.
