Olen William Fann, age 93 of Jasper, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at WellStar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta. Mr. Fann was born February 13, 1924 to Clemer and Daisy Fann in Pickens County.
Olen is survived by his wife, Azzie Fann of Jasper; sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Connie Fann of Jasper, Wayne and Elizabeth Fann of Jasper; step-children, Peggy Griffith of Jasper, Junior Buchanan of Charleston, SC; grandchildren, Billy and Jenni Fann, Julie and Shannon Kelley, Kayla and Justin Staton, Klay and Allye Fann; great-grandchildren, Justin Fann, Lauren Fann, Nathaniel Kelley, Karson Kelley, Colton Staton, Camden Staton.
The funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Reverend Ben Mock and Reverend Harvey Ware officiating. Interment will follow at Sharptop Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Billy Buchanan, Shannon Kelley, Nathaniel Kelley, Karson Kelley, Justin Fann, and Klay Fann. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.
The family will accept flowers or make a donation to the charity of your choice.
