Alan Richard Jones, age 64 of Jasper passed away Monday, March 27, 2017 at North Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville. Alan was born August 20, 1952 in Pickens County to Lloyd and Jean Jones.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Jones, of Jasper; sons and daughter-in-law, Nathan Jones, of Jasper, Brian and Lindsey Jones, of Jasper; parents, Lloyd and Jean Jones, of Jasper; grandchildren, Hayden Jones, Laney Jones, Gracie Jones, Harper Jones; brother, Larry Jones; several other friends and family members also survive. He was preceded in death by a brother, David Jones.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00pm Thursday, March 30, 2017 in the Roper Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Reece and James Ray officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6:00pm to 9:00pm, Wednesday from 9:00am to 9:00pm and on Thursday from 9:00am until the funeral hour.
