Workout Like a Pro~Workout with a Pro at Zoo-Ology Zen Zone a new workout center in Pickens County

Do you want to be fit & healthy?  Did help getting on the right track?  Maybe you need to schedule an appointment with personal trainer Gabe “Zoo” Northern.  Former NFL player has moved from the Buffalo Bills to the Foothills.  The foothills of Jasper, GA.  Being fit has always been an important part of Gabe’s life so when he decided he liked the weather better in the South he moved into Pickens County.  Now you can work out like a pro…and with one!

Gabriel O’Kara Northern (born June 8, 1974) is a former American football linebacker and defensive end who played for five seasons with the Buffalo Bills and Minnesota Vikings. He served as defensive line coach at Prairie View A&M from 2011 to 2012 and 2014, and in the same position at Grambling State from 2001 to 2003.  

As a rookie in 1996, he finished the year with 5.0 Sacks and 19 Tackles. In his second season, he started one game and recorded 24 tackles. He made the switch to outside linebacker in 1998 and started 16 games, finishing with 2.0 Sacks, one interception, one forced fumble, and 32 Tackles. In 1999, he again started 16 games and finished with 3.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and 35 Tackles.  

Northern opened up a fitness center, Zoo-Ology Zen Zone, offering various options to anyone who wants to be in better health.  Are you looking for a new and exciting way to revamp your workout routine? Speaking from personal experience I can attest to the type of training you receive when you schedule with Gabe Northern!  He was able to develop a specific training for me which provided a routine I could handle while also providing me with the exercise I needed to work toward my goals.

Gabe believes in providing a family friendly atmosphere, where anyone from 4 years old to 84 years old can work out. This summer, he will be putting on summer camps for young boys to improve on their health, while also working on their behavior. In addition, he has begun working with the Pickens High School football team in their pursuit of a state title. Below you will find the daily schedule for Practice work outs with Gabe including both the regular practices ($15) and also adding a 50-yard Liners class for seniors ($5), Gentle Beginners Yoga classes and a new Gentle Yin Yoga Class for stress reduction and restoration with Lora ($10), and last but not least the new Free-Style Independent work outs ($5). Free-Style classes are available to team members who have previously worked out with coach Gabe to use the equipment and facility for one hour to work out independently.
