Mrs. Essie Mae Roach, age 90 of Jasper, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Pruitt Healthcare in Jasper. She was born September 26, 1926 to Willie and Lizzie Stephens in Sandersville, Georgia.
Mrs. Roach is survived by her husband, Truman Roach of Jasper; and son, Willie Stephens. A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Tate with Reverend Tyron Gates officiating. Interment will follow at Lake Forest Memorial Park. Mrs. Roach will lie in state at the church from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
The Wake Service will be held Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Visitation will be Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the Wake Service.
