Pickens County Fourth of July Schedule

 

Every year Pickens County celebrates our freedom on the Fourth of July. Activities include the fair, a parade, entertainment, and fireworks! It is family friendly and has something for all ages! This year we are getting a head start on our celebration with a posted schedule of the events below.

Schedule:

• Fair – Friday, June 30 to Tuesday, July 4 at Lee Newton Park

Opening times:

Friday, June 30 at 5:00 P.M.

Saturday, July 1 at 4:00 P.M.

Sunday, July 2 at 4:00 P.M.

Monday, July 3 at 5:00 P.M.

Tuesday, July 4 after parade

• Parade – Tuesday, July 4 at 10:00 A.M on Main Street
• Entertainment – Tuesday, July 4 begins at 11:00 A.M at Lee Newton Park

Entertainment Lineup:

11:00 A.M. –  Dr. Carl McCurdy and Town Band

12:15-12:30 P.M. – Cole “Lil E” Posey

12:30-1:00 P.M. – Rebecca Hampton and The Cowboy Church Dancers

1:15-2:45 P.M. – Sons of the South

3:00-3:30 P.M. – ATA North GA Martial Arts

3:30-4:30 P.M. –  StormTree Music
