Christian Starks Playing For The Big League!

5th grader Christian Starks has always had a passion for baseball. He began at the age of 3 playing T Ball for Pickens County Recreational Department and soon after joined the Jasper City League.

After playing for Jasper he found new opportunities in Cherokee County. He was recruited by East Cobb Baseball Academy to play on the Colt 45’s team as #16. The team finished their national tournament Saturday, Christian batted 406 of the season. His father, Mickey Starks had this to say:

He has always loved baseball, it’s all he wants to do even when he was younger.

This year Christian was invited to try out for the 2017 USSSA All American Team Atlantic Region. This team consists high level players and looks for some of the best. Christian was 1 out of 24 chosen to play for the team.
