Mr. Lamar Nichols, age 75, of Talking Rock passed away Monday, July 17, 2017 at his home. He was born April 27, 1942 to Olan and Shirley Nichols in Pickens County. He was a member of Blaine Lodge F&AM #534.
He is survived by his children, Tim and Rachel Nichols of Talking Rock, Tina and Donnie Craig of Talking Rock, Tammy and Tony Brown of Talking Rock; sister, Janice Low; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held11:00 a.m., Friday, July 21, 2017 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Huey Holloway officiating. Interment will be at Cagle Cemetery in Talking Rock.
Visitation will be at Roper Funeral Home Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.; Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.; and until the funeral hour on Friday.
Arrangements are entrusted to the staff of Roper Funeral Home & Crematory in Jasper, Georgia.
