Mr. Claude Burgess: Obituary

Mr. Claude Burgess, age 89 of Jasper, passed away Thursday August 10, 2017 at his residence.

Mr. Burgess is survived by his wife: Emiline Burgess of Jasper; sons and daughters-in-law: Doug & Yvonne Burgess of Jasper, Terry & Pam Burgess of Jasper, and Eddie & Renee Burgess of Jasper; daughters and sons-in-law: Deb & Larry Turner of Jasper and Kim & Jamie Garrett of Jasper; brother-in-law: Kenneth West of Jasper; sister-in-law: Vera Honea of Alabama; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin on Thursday August 10, 2017 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm, Friday from 8:00am until 9:00pm, and on Saturday from 8:00am until prior to the funeral hour. The funeral service will be held at 2pm Saturday at Sharptop Baptist Church. Interment at Sharptop Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will accept flowers or donation may be made to Georgia Mountains Hospice.
