2018 Citizen of the Year Nominations

The Pickens County Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for the 2018 Pickens County Citizen of the Year Award, sponsored by ETC Communications, LLC, which will be presented at the Winter Ball on Saturday, January 20, 2018.

The Citizen of the Year Award was created to heighten public awareness and appreciation of the many people who work, often behind the scenes, to better the community’s quality of life. While these people are not fueled by a desire for civic recognition, their efforts, whether aimed at protecting our environment, beautifying neighborhoods, increasing local opportunities for youth, or raising money for various worthy projects, all demonstrate an exceptional level of citizenship.

Complete information and nomination forms are available at the Pickens County Chamber of Commerce or online at Citizen of the Year Nomination Form. All nominations must be submitted to the Pickens County Chamber of Commerce on or before December 8, 2017.
