Mr. Grady Monroe Dodd, age 70, of Jasper, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper. He was born March 20, 1947 to Clyde and Frances Dodd in Ball Ground.
He is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda and Keith Blalock of Jasper, Linda and Scott Coker of Woodstock, Brenda and David Franklin of McCaysville; brothers, David Dodd of Jasper, Albert Dodd of Jasper, Hulon Dodd of Canton; sister, Helen Padgett of Canton; eight grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.
The Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 27, 2017 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Nathan Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Union Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
