Wayside Animal Hospital presents donation to Pickens High Future Farmers of America

Wayside Animal Hospital held their annual drive-through vaccine clinic March 24, 2018, and had a great turnout! Once again offering two locations, the veterinary team began their day at Pickens High School from 9 a.m. to noon and then transitioned to the Cove Road location of Community Bank of Pickens County from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.. This year, proceeds from the vaccine clinic benefited Pickens County High School Future Farmers of America (FFA) and, by vaccinating over 250 pets, were able to raise a substantial amount of money to donate to the group. The FFA program uses donations to help fund the annual banquet, the trip to the State FFA Convention, and to help cover expenses for students when they participate in competitions. Wayside Animal Hospital sends out special thanks to Pickens County for the wonderful support this year at the vaccine clinic!
