Alta Ann Wigington Orr: Obituary

Mrs. Alta Ann Wigington Orr, age 79, of Cleveland, Georgia, passed away Monday, May 7, 2018, in Gainesville, Georgia, following a brief illness.

Mrs. Orr was born June 27, 1938, in Jasper, Georgia, to John and Kate (Trippe) Wigington.

Ann is survived by her husband of 57 years, Samuel Lewis Orr; daughters and sons-in-law, Joni & Larry Manley of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Jill & Bobby Ross of Gainesville, Georgia; sons and daughters-in-law, Sam Jr. & Jennifer Orr of Buford, Georgia, and Stephen & Andrea Orr of Toccoa, Georgia. Grandchildren include, Matthew Townsend, Mitchell Townsend, Trippe Ross, John Ross, Jay Ross, Heidi Orr, Sam Orr III, Meredith Orr, Betsey Orr, and June Orr; Several nieces and nephews.

A family graveside service is planned at Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Bobby Mullinax officiating.

In lieu of Flowers the family is requesting donations be made to Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery fund.

Cagle Funeral Home of Jasper, Georgia is honored to serve the Orr family.
