Amy (Denehie) Roberts: Obituary

Loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and great aunt.
Amy (Denehie) Roberts, 43 years old, passed away on June 5, 2018 at her home in Ball Ground, Georgia.

Amy is the wife of Paul Roberts, mother to Greg and Santana (Lindsey) Roberts, stepmother to Phoenix Roberts, grandmother to Peyton Roberts, daughter of Steve and Nancy (Pyle) Denehie and sister to Georgie (Wayne) Moody. She also has 8 nephews, 6 nieces, 6 great nephews, 6 great nieces and several aunts, unclesand cousins.

Amy graduated from Cookeville High School in Tennessee in 1993 and attended Middle Tennessee State University. She worked for BB&T Insurance as a Commercial Account Manager until recent health issues would not allow her to do so.

Amy impacted those around her through her generosity, humor, wit, and caring, fun-loving way of life.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018, 3:30 p.m. at Roper Funeral Home in Jasper, Georgia. Visitation will be from 1:00 – 3:30 p.m. before the service. Chaplain Mike Fisher will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family instead has asked for donations in Amy’s memory to either Pickens County Animal Rescue (Talking Rock, GA), Cherokee County Humane Society (Acworth, GA) or Save the Horses (Ball Ground, GA).

Arrangements are entrusted to the staff of Roper Funeral Home & Crematory in Jasper.
