James Harry Cavender, age 85, of Ball Ground, Georgia passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Northside Hospital Cherokee.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, David and Betty Cavender of Ball Ground; son, Kenneth Cavender of Cumming; daughter, Annette Cavender of Ball Ground; grandchildren, Eric and Stephanie Cavender of Conifer, Colorado and Kristen Cavender of Cumming. Several other relatives also survive.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Cavender.
Funeral Services will be held 1:30 p.m., Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the Roper Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Horris Biddy officiating. Interment will follow in the Sharp Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery at 7168 Ball Ground Highway; Ball Ground, GA 30107.
The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home Friday, June 15, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
