Anson C. “A.C.” Edwards: Obituary

Mr. Anson C. “A.C.” Edwards passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Gordon Hospital in Galhoun, GA. after a brief illness.

Mr.  Edwards was born March 28, 1937 to Andrew J. and Ola Jones Edwards. Survivors include his Sisters: Dessa Caylor of the Jerusalem Community, Bessie Cochran of Fairmount. Nephews: John Caylor of Jerusalem Community, Danny Cochran of Fairmount, Larry Cochran of Fairmount, John & Judy Walraven of Nickelsville, GA, Charles & Debbie Edwards of Twin Tanks Community, Jerry & Pam Edwards of Hinton Community. Nieces: Bessie Lee & Bobby Durham of Chatsworth, Francis & Glen Burchett of Calhoun, Geri & Jim Kelly of Jerusalem Community, Pat & Freddie Gibson of Fairmount. Also surviving, Great & Great-Great Nieces and Nephews.

Special Friends and Caregivers: Ken & Susan Simpson.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 19 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Wednesday June 20 from 8:00 AM until the funeral hour.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 20, 2018 in the Cagle Funeral Home Chapel. Charles Edwards officiating.

Pallbearers: Danny Cochran, Larry Cochran, Joey Edwards, Jared Edwards, Jacob Edwards and Scotty Jordan.
Honorary Pallbearer: Mason Jordan.

Interment will be at Hinton Community Cemetery immediately following the funeral services.
