Mrs. Phyllis Bates, age 59 of Talking Rock passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital.
Mrs. Bates is survived by her Husband: Tim Bates of Talking Rock. Daughter and Son-in-Law: Melinda & Tony Hancock of Jasper. Brother and Sister-in-Law: Ryan & Donna Wilson of Jasper. Sisters: Willine White of Cumming and Joyce Martin of Cumming. Sisters-in-Law: Sherea & Husband Ron Chester of Jasper, Becky Bates and fiancé Mark Mulkey of Talking Rock. Host of Nieces, Nephews and Great Nieces.
Visitation will be Monday, July 23 from 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM and Tuesday, July 24, 8:00 AM until the funeral hour.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Cagle Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Steven Chapman and Rev. William Faucett officiating.
Pallbears: Chase Heath, Casey Heath, Phillip Wilson, Mason Wilson, Mondy Walls, and Billy Miller.
Interment will be at Sunrise Memorial Gardens immediately following the funeral services.
