Gary Lamar Bennett, age 74, of Ball Ground, Georgia passed away Sunday, August 5, 2018 at his home.
Survivors include his wife, Paulette Bennett of Ball Ground; daughters, Dedra Coley of Woodstock, Darlene Pendley of Ball Ground, Denise Gentry of Ball Ground, Janie Holmes of Dalton, Lisa Hendrix of Tate; sons, Darrin Bennett of Ball Ground, Bryan Evans of Tate; brothers, Larry Bennett of Cumming, Tony Bennett of Jasper; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Lorene Bennett.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home. The Internment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home Monday, August 6, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
The family will accept flowers or those who wish may make donations to The American Cancer Society at PO Box 22478; Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
