Glen Edward Davies, age 72, of Jasper, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018 at his home. He was born February 24, 1946 to Carl and Jamie Davies in Atlanta, Georgia.
Survivors include his wife, Maryetta (Mayjet) Davies of Big Canoe; daughter, Katherine Kerri Davies Crean of Snellville; daughter and son-in-law, Joy Davies and George O’Brien of Cumming; daughter and son-in-law, Amy Harris Ryan and Kevin Ryan of Dunwoody; brother, Bill Davies of Conyers; sister, Katherine Davies Phillips of Gainesville; grandchildren, Kiera Crean, Philip Ryan, and Louis Ryan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Jamie Davies and brother, James Davies.
Mr. Davies will remain in the care of the staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory while he is being cremated.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.

I am sad to learn of Glenn's passing. He was the hardest working man I have ever known.
Great sense of humor, easy going personality. You couldn't't help but like the man.
I send my heartfelt sympathy to the family. I know this is a difficult time. You all will be in my prayers.
