Jasper, Georgia — Due to the number of homes without power, several county roads still impassable for school
buses, and the weather advisory from the national weather service predicting freezing temperatures and the
formation of black ice overnight and into the late morning hours, the Pickens County School District will be
closed tomorrow, Tuesday, Dec 11, 2018. Twelve-month employees report at 10:00 a.m.
Notice to Pickens High School students taking End of Course tests: These tests will be given Thursday and
Friday, December 13 & 14, 2018.
