With family and friends gather in the Pickens High School Theater Ellie Abner took her place at the signing table as Coach Pinson(Nettes Head Coach) spoke on the accomplishments of Abner both as a person and as a player.
Abner has been a member of the Nettes for 4 years as well as playing several years on a travel team. Her hard work and dedication can be seen every time she walks on to the field. Ellie is a wall behind the plate with a cannon for an arm. Offensively, Abner has a spectrum of ability from bunting to knocking the ball over the fence. Truett McConnell is getting one of the best catchers in the state and is without any doubts happy to have her on their 2020 roster.
