Mary Virginia Holland

July 4, 1925 – February 19, 2019

Mary Virginia Holland, age 93, of Jasper, Georgia passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2019. She was born July 4, 1925 in Stone Mountain, Georgia. She was a lifelong member of Mountain View Baptist Church in Stone Mountain and a member of the Eastern Star. She attended Cool Springs Baptist Church after moving to Jasper. She was preceded in death by her husband Milford Lee Holland.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Lynn Holland of Jasper; grandsons, Jason and Tara Holland of Canton, Jarret and Kristin Holland of Buford; granddaughter, Emilee and Andrew Wehunt of Cumming; great-grandchildren, Dawson Lee Holland, Logan Nalley, Cooper Nalley, Layla Marie Holland, Carolina Lee Holland, MaryBelle Ann Holland, and Brooklee Belle Wehunt.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Mountain View Baptist Church with Reverend J. B. Reese officiating. Mrs. Holland will lie-in-state from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow the service in the Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Friday, February 22, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

The family will accept flowers or a memorial contribution may be made to Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery Fund in her honor.
