Grace Marguerite Cagle Gibson, age 82, of Tate, passed away Friday, January 24, 2020 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital. She was born March 26, 1937 to Earnest and Grace Cagle in Pickens County.
Mrs. Gibson is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Marvin and Bonnie Gibson of Tate; daughters and sons-in-law, Margie Lynn and Shannon Gable of Dawsonville, Cindy and Robert Poole of Canton; son, Gerald “GL” Gibson of Jasper; and granddaughter, Elizabeth Gibson of Memphis, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Gibson; parents, Earnest and Grace Cagle; sister, Eva Joe Crowe; brothers, Clarence Cagle and John Cagle.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 26, 2020 at Bethany Baptist Church with Reverend Butch Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, January 26, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
