PCRD Reopening Postponed

Pickens County Government learned on June 5, 2020 that a PCRD employee received a
positive diagnosis for COVID-19. In accordance with health guidelines, Pickens County
Recreation Department closed on that date and all patrons were notified. Since, that time
additional PCRD employees have received a positive diagnosis for COVID-19. Therefore,
PCRD will remain closed to the public until further notice. Roper Park will remain open to the
public, but health guidelines are in place and will be enforced. We apologize for any
inconvenience; however, this decision is in the best interest of public safety. If you have any
