PCSO and GBI investigating domestic dispute and apparent suicide

PICKENS COUNTY, Ga – In a statement released by the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office, they relayed details about a domestic dispute that ended in an apparent suicide. See the entire statement below.

“Deputies are currently on the scene of a tragic domestic dispute at a residence on Hwy 53 West in Pickens County. The incident involved an assault leading to serious injuries and tragically resulted in the apparent suicide of the other individual. Our staff is currently being assisted by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation in processing the scene.

Due to the domestic nature of the scene and the active investigation into it, there are no additional details available at this time.”
