Advanced in person voting began in Pickens County on December 14th. Voting days and hours are Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm. The voting location is Pickens Community Center 1329 Camp Road Jasper, Georgia.http://picrec.com
There will be NO VOTING on December 23, 24, 25, 31, and January 1, 2021. Election day is on January 5, 2021.
Early Absentee ballot Processing Notice
The Pickens County Board of Elections and Registration will begin opening voted absentee ballots beginning December 18, 2020 at 9:00 am and will continue until all ballots have been opened.
The Board will conduct the process at The Pickens County Election Office at 83 Pioneer Rd. Jasper, Georgia 30143.
The process will not produce any tabulated results but only allow for the opening of voted absentee ballots.
The voted absentee ballots will be tabulated after the close of the polls on January 5, 2021. Appointed party members and the public are entitled to be present.
Absentee ballots can be placed in a drop box located at the Board of Elections 83 Pioneer Road Jasper, Georgia 30143. http://pickenscountyga.gov
