Fannin- 56

Murphy- 23

The Rebels took down the Bulldogs 56-23. Fannin moves to 2-2 after the dominating win and will head to Gordon Central to take on the 0-4 Warriors in a region matchup next Friday night. As for the Murphy Bulldogs, they fall to 2-2 and will host New Faith Christian Academy (GA) next week.

 

Pickens- 24

Christian Heritage- 22

The Dragons sneak by Christian Heritage winning 24-22. Pickens is now 1-3 on the year and will travel to Dahlonega for a region clash with the undefeated Lumpkin County Indians. The Lions fall to 1-3 and will host the 3-0 St. Francis Knights next week.

 

White- 14

Stephens- 53

The Warriors fell to the Indians 53-14, as Stephens County picks up back to back dominating wins. White County falls to 2-2 on the year and will head into their Bye Week with a region showdown with Dawson Count on 09/30. Stephens moves to 4-1 and will also be heading into their Bye Week.

 

Union- 48

West Hall- 7

Union wins in blowout fashion, 48-7, over West Hall. The Panthers move to 4-1 on the year and will take the next two weeks off before heading to undefeated Banks County (4-0) for a big region matchup on 10/07. The Spartans fall to 1-3 on the year and will travel to Dawson to take on the Tigers in their region opener.

 

Rockmart- 14

Irwin- 28

Irwin County was able to knock off Rockmart 28-14. The Yellowjackets now sit at 2-2 and will head into their Bye Week with a much anticipated region opener with the Model Blue Devils on the horizon. As for Irwin County, they move to 3-1 on the year and they will host the 3-2 Metter Tigers next week.
