Did you know the Old Tate Gym was built in 1925, thanks to the Georgia Marble Company’s commitment to education? In 1997, a passionate group of local citizens formed Marble Valley Friends to preserve this historic gem from demolition. It was officially added to the National Registry of Historic Places in 2002!
