Cross Country Teams Fair Well At Warpath Invitaional

Last Saturday, the boys and girls cross country teams traveled to Canton to run in the Warpath Invitational held at Boling Park. The boys cross country team, ranked 7th in the 4A poll, finished 7th out of 28th teams with Wyatt Ingram placing 18th out of 190 runners with a time of 16:46 and Sean Parker finishing with the 3rd place medal with an impressive time of 16:08. Nettes Softball Lose A Tough One To Heritage

Last Thursday, the Nettes softball team hosted the #2 team in 4A Lady Generals of Heritage. Prior to the game, the two teams came together in the infield to release red, white, and blue balloons in remembrance of the 9/11 attacks. (more…)


Cross Country Teams Impress In Atlanta

Last Saturday, the varsity and JV Cross Country teams traveled to Atlanta to run in the Saucony Battle of Atlanta in Nash Farms. With several teams competing, the Dragons and Nettes runners would have impressive showings. Ranked 4th in the 4A poll, the varsity boys team would finish 5th overall out of 41 teams while the varsity girls would finish 9th out of 31 teams. The JV boys would finish 7th out of 29 teams. Sean Parker would finish 9th overall with a time of 16:23. The teams have an off week this week but will be in action again on Saturday, September 13th in Canton, Ga at the Warpath Invitational at Boling Park.
