Pickens County Sheriff’s office makes drug arrest after routine traffic stop


The Pickens Sheriff’s Office made an arrest on drugs on May 11th after a report of a speeding motorist.

Following up on a lookout for a speeding motorist, Sgt Travis Curran  found the vehicle and made a traffic stop after noticing the registration was expired. The driver then gave Sgt Curran consent to check the vehicle, and the methamphetamine and paraphernalia were found leading to the arrest of Matthew Perrick of the Atlanta area. (see pictures below)
