WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator David Perdue (R-GA) interviewed Evelyn Doss, a high school junior from Blue Ridge, Georgia, about her experience in the U.S. Senate Page Program on Facebook Live.
“Congratulations to Evelyn and her family on her acceptance into the Senate Page Program,” said Senator Perdue. “As an impressive young leader in her school and community, Evelyn has certainly earned this high honor, and I look forward to hearing about her continued success in the future.”
Evelyn is the first page Senator Perdue has appointed to the program. She is a student at Fannin County High School and participates in student government, mock trial, and drama club. Evelyn is also a member of the National Honor Society and plays the flute in her school’s band.
The Pickens Dragonettes and Dragons took care of business at home against Fannin High School on Tuesday evening, and when it was all said and done the Nettes walked away with a 69-56 victory while the Dragons dominated the Rebels to the tune of a 57-34 win. (more…)

The Pickens Dragons and Dragonettes had mixed results in their first hope games of the 2012-2013 season, as the Dragonettes outlasted the West Forsyth Lady Wolverines and the Dragons made a late run but just could not top the Wolverines. (more…)
The Pickens Dragons and Dragonettes played on different ends of the spectrum on the first day of the ETC Tipoff Tournament on Saturday, as the Nettes opened the tournament with a hard-fought eight point win over the Fannin Lady Rebels and the Dragons started the series of games with a disappointing eighteen point loss to the Fannin Rebels.
