This Starts with opening week match ups with the Detroit Pistons (Oct. 27th), division rival Charlotte Hornets (Oct. 30th), & ending with the Dec. 26th game against the New York Knicks. Available seats with no ticketing fees can be found at www.hawks.com/tickets, by dialing 1.866.715.1500 visiting the Phillips Arena Box Office, or any Ticketmaster outlet.
Tickets for the first 18 home games are available for purchase as well. These games include an early season match up with 2015 1st round playoff opponent Brooklyn Nets (Nov. 4th), as well as Division rival and 2015 2nd round playoff opponent, the Washington Wizards on Nov. 7th. Other featured games included in the ticket release are matchup with the Boston Celtics (Nov. 24th), division foe Miami Heat (Dec. 14th), and three Western Conference teams making their only appearance of the season at the Highlight Factory including, the Oklahoma City Thunder (Nov.30th), L.A. Lakers (Dec. 4th), & the San Antonio Spurs (Dec. 12th).
Chick-fil-A Family Night will be returning for another season and will be held on all Friday & Sunday games. The offer includes 4 tickets and 4 Chick-fil-A combo meals. Prices will start at $99. Also returning is the Hudson Grille 4-packs. They will be available for all Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday games. They include 4 tickets & 4 $10 Hudson Grille gift cards. Prices starting at $99. Available Monday-Friday home games will have a tip off time of 8 p.m. Saturday games available have a tip time of 7:30 p.m. with the exception of the match up with the Spurs on Dec. 12th. That game will start at 8 p.m. Tickets for the entire 2015-16 season can be purchased through flex plans, group sales (10 or more), or through a membership program by visiting the website or calling the number above.
From Jelani Downing, Coordinator, Corporate Communications for the Atlanta Hawks & Phillips Arena: On October 3rd, fans of the Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club will get a chance to see up close the new court design at Phillips Arena as well as the 2015-16 roster. The color scheme, much like the new jerseys, features Volt Green, Georgia Granite Grey, and Torch Red.
The free to the public practice will be conducted at 11 a.m. as the new look Hawks team begins to prepare for the upcoming season. Fans will also be able to purchase new merchandise featuring the new colors and logos as well as different fan activity stations located around the concourse of the arena. General Admission seating is available to the public in the 113-118 sections.
Also, team membership associates will be available during the practice to layout available 2015-16 season ticket locations to interested fans. Phillips Arena will open the doors to fans starting at 10:30 a.m. through Hawks Walk (attached to CNN Center), the MARTA entrance, Phillips Drive, Techwood (adjacent to the box office), & Bridge Club Walkway. From Jelani Downing, Coordinator of Cooperate Communications for the Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club and Phillips Arena, the Atlanta Hawks and the Atlanta chapter of ColorComm have announced plans to host a “Minority Women in Sports PR.”
It will be a panel discussion featuring well known women in the world of professional sports communications. This event, will be open to the public and will be from 6:30-8 p.m. next Tuesday, Sept. 15th inside Phillips Arena’s Center Club. Participating will be high-ranking officials from the Hawks, Phillips Arena, FOX Sports South, and Turner Sports.
Nzinga Shaw, Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer of the Atlanta Hawks & Phillips arena stated:
“The Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club is excited to partner with ColorComm to host this event. There is much-needed dialouge surrounding issues of women and minorities in sports and we are grateful to have a platform to facilitate a powerful dicussion.”
The event will be moderated by TV & Radio personality Rashan Ali, and panelists will include Tara August the VP of Talent Relations for Turner Sports, Rolanda Gaines the Director of Marketing and Communications for FOX Sports South, and Nzinga Shaw.

“The ‘Minority Women in Sports PR’ panel aligns with our organization’s mission of shining a light on the contributions of women of color in communications, and connecting them with other like-minded individuals. The evening will start off with a networking reception and the panel discussion will follow. Refreshments will be there and giveaways will be raffled off to attendees.
