Reverend D. J. Free, age 78 of Jasper, passed away on Tuesday morning, September 6, 2011 at Metropolitan Hospice in Marietta. Visitation will be held at Cagle Funeral Home on Tuesday afternoon from 4:30PM to 9PM and Wednesday, September 7th from 8AM until prior the Funeral Hour.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2PM on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at the Chapel of Cagle Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include his Daughter and Son-In-Law: Marlene and Gene Weaver of Calhoun; Niece and Nephew: Rita and David Stokes and Jim Beck; Several Cousins. Reverend Free was preceded in death by two Wives: Hazel Green Free and Mary Covington Free.
